Do what you need to do, baby. You're a monthly donor, which means anything anybody gets anywhere else will also be there for you on the members page, you'll just have to go look for it.

Up to 253 members now, which feels respectable.

Wow, does that make it a gain of nearly 40 in two hours? Up to 315 now. Not quite enough to take over the world with, but getting there.

When it hits 500 I am going to do a full-on evil laugh, regardless of where I am. Well, now that I think about it, I'll have to be near a computer of some sort, which narrows it down.

See, the great thing is that everybody who joins is having little boxes appear on all of their friends Facebook pages that say "Decoder Ring Theatre. 3 friends are fans. Become a fan too?" And it's all free... free I say... "Bwa-ha-ha-" o

I appreciate your stand, Undrave, but do consider facebook. You can be as active as you want. You can "fan" the DRT page and do nothing else. Then you can join in the fun there, and discussions here as well.

I gave in and joined today. I'm on one fan page (DRT's), and have one friend. If that's all I end up doing there, I'm still having fun.

As of now, DRT has 428 fans there. Cool.

Yeah except I got plenty of folks pressuring me to join Facebook so I can 'friend' them. Real life friends, folks I went to highschool with, my dad's girlfriend, people on another message board.

I don't respond to nagging and peer pressure. I'm also NOT gonna bust my hump to make a bilingual page -.- it'll look corny!

I just "became a fan" on Facebook...now up to 444 fans! Amazing response! Now if the majority of those fans were Beloved Monthly Donors, the entire DRT cast and crew could enjoy fresh donuts at every recording session, and who in their right mind wouldn't like that???
