Have fun everyone!
Given that our holiday falls on a Wednesday this year (July 1st), many celebrations are being held the following weekend. So our local Canada Day fireworks, for example, are taking place July 4th.
Given our two land masses and populations, this is one big party weekend.

I'm afraid this year it just means I've lost the backend programmers I know to holidaying and I have a site due to be finished by monday and I'm getting phoned every hour and lectured on the subject as if it were my fault.

I went to a BBQ with history geeks where we were having a massive discussion about whether or not the Revolutionary War was justified or not.

Fantastic- though I think I'd fare better with discussions on american football, dungeons and dragons, the War in Europe (WW2), or Lord of the Rings-LOL

Oh Lord of the Rings came up. That tends to happen when you're pretty much all dressed up as LotR characters though. Inevitable really.
