Black Lagoon is one of my favorite creature feature movies... love the gill-man and the "Dun Dun Daaaaaaaa - Dun Dun Daaaaaaaa - Dun Dun Daaaaaaa" every time you saw gill-man swimming in that crystal clear (or um... black) lagoon.

I wonder if.... hmmmm

Couldn't do a Schlock send up to it.. it'd have to be a proper adaptation.

I'd love to hear a proper one!!!

I have a scan of a Dell comic movie adaptation from way back in the day if it would help.

Hell- ANY of the classic monsters would be cool <do the AD's universal or Hammer style!>

More info on the German-made Gualagon audio. Still probably not going to be redone in English, but they are definitely putting a lot into their production. There's a TON of info in this article plus a fun video trailer

Sadly I think this will just be in German, but there is a full-on German audio production taking place that is all about the Japanese style giant monsters. The website looks really cool!
http://www.gualagon.de/bereich-english.php

Looks like their English text gets cut off by the website design so here is the full text:

Humanoids from the Deep.....
Now we're talkin!

If anybody would be interested in some rookie mixing, I'd be glad to volunteer. Currently I do some voice work in Frequency of Fear and various other things, and would love to do some audio assembly concoctions.

Hmm, I think you guys have given me some inspiration! I started a script a couple of years ago called 'The Blood of Godzilla' but never finished it doe to a bad case of writing myself into a corner. I gave up on it figuring there really would not be a fan base for it, but it sounds like there may be. I guess it's time for me to figure out an ending.

My audio drama production group is currently scheduling our productions for 2010 and I think I'll try and work 'The Blood of Godzilla' in early in the year if I get the script finished. Here's to hoping.

I LOVED mutant money master vs the robot with a human brain! Hey it had Mark Kaltia (I hope I'm spelling his name right), who is my favorite audio drama voice actor! I hope you guys do a sequal (I even have the perferct title: The Mutant Monkey Master on MARS!!!)
But i was thinking more of a godzilla vs mechagodzilla style storyline with a dash of american 30's pulp scifi thrown in. Thats what I'd love to see and plenty of them since its one place we are sorely lacking in scif audio drama.
I'd change the title to "of mars" instead of "on mars" unless of course he was just on vacation.
