Default Zorro and the pirate raiders ready to set sail

After almost two years of script re-writes (seven drafts) and some production issues, CRT is VERY happy to announce that we will begin recording ZORRO AND THE PIRATE RAIDERS on April 25th. This is a co-production with Zorro Productions, Inc., who own the copyright of this incredible franchise. This will also be the first time Zorro has been produced as a fully realized modern audio drama, so needless to say we are very excited to work on this. After many auditions, we have selected the lead cast, headed by CRT newcomer Kevin Cirone as Don Diego/Zorro. Supporting him will be CRT vets Sam Donato as Sgt. Garcia, and J.T. Turner as the evil Captain Ramon. Joseph Zamparelli Jr co-stars as Friar Felipe, Hugh Metzler will portray the Pirate leader Bardoso, and Shonna MacEachern will appear as Lolita Pulido.
Jeffrey Gage is currently scoring this production, and Seth Adam Sher will be the producer. I'll keep the production progress updated on my blog.

Great news! Really looking forward to it.

Since it is quite a momentous production, are you planning on keeping track of it through a blog or news or maybe even videos, etc?

I'll be updating it on my blog, which is linked from the home page of the CRT website; we won't be doing any videos though. It's an exciting script, and hopefully we'll do it justice - with a little luck and the help of the devil.

I'd like to complain that I don't see Jerry Robbins in the list up there. Is this going to be the first AD you don't appear in!!!

lol, thanks! Complaint noted; however trust me, you do NOT want to hear my Spanish accent! It won't be the first CRT show I am not in; there are many Father Browns, Phil Byrnes, Toby Tylers, Yankee Clippers that I was not in, as well as our feature length production of THE RIVALS, and at the moment, I am not sure I will be in our upcoming "Charlie Chan" - so it won't be the first time. There is a chance I may narrate it and host it. we'll see.
