Default Crimson Lien Promo

The current, official promo for Planet Retcon Radio is the promo for the Crimson Lien. Now that we're shaking off the cackles of the Hiatus, I'd love anybody who could play our promo on their show.

http://planetretcon.com/podcast/prc_promo4_47.mp3

If you do play it, post here or email me (wesley@planetretcon.com) to let me know, and I'll play your promo as well.

Consider it done my friend.
You know where to find our promos I hope... Top right corner of the sonicsociety.org page.

By the way, this is my own personal plea for people to put a link to their promos on their main pages.

You know... I haven't played other people's promos before...

Crimson Lien is the one I ought to start breaking that tradition with...

(Then we all win...)

You mean one that you can actually download... right?

Ok ok...

I'll put it on my podcast within the week - as well as two new promos for our upcoming Cliff Proton adventure "The Loose Jelly at the Edge of the Galaxy" - it's actually a promo for our performances in April... But it's structured more like a 5 minute mini episode... (enough of me babbling... you'll hear it soon enough...)

Yes! We all win!

Note, I can only play 2 promos per show, and one has to be for guest actors, so it could be a bit before I play yours. Next episode (which I'm working on right now) will be Sonic Society because it has a guest voice. Also, I won't put your promo in a blooper show, they're too short and don't get as many hits as the main show anyway.

That's a shame. I love your blooper shows.

Please understand, I love your "regular" shows too. But I wouldn't miss the blooper shows.

Austin?

I live a bit north of there and - saved you 3 or 4 hours of driving...

you only need to get to the Dallas / Fort Worth area. (which is only a 14 to 16 hour drive from the St Paul / Minneapolis area)

Of course, these days it's not so much the drive as the fuel cost involved.

But if you're going to make the trip... and I were to recommend a venue - I'd say you try the Grapevine performances. (Usually a Saturday Afternoon) The library has a really nice area, and afterwards - downtown Grapevine ( just up the road) has some great shops, restaurants and bars - and there's great lodging too.

I'm a big fan of Grapevine Texas.

Point of trivia, we recorded the new Cliff Proton Promo in a car outside one of our favorite bars in Grapevine. (we certainly couldn't record IN the bar... and I wasn't prepared to change the script to match). A preview of that Promo is available on our myspace page...

Question Promo request

I'm looking a for a promo to put on out on the next chapter of Rebels of the Red Planet tomorrow.

I ran TRTC's last week, and Crimson Lein's the week before, so I'm looking for someone else. Anyone? I'm looking for a 30 - 90 second promo if possible.

Cool

Gee... thanks Paul... I'm about to release Mark II of that one (a bit shorter and not so many thunderclaps in the middle)...

I wish I had one ready for Schlock Audio... maybe I can use one of the opening sequences and tack - "Log on to schlock audio dot com" in my average not so announcey type voice.

Couldn't hurt.

much

I'll work on it tonight and then you can PM me your EMA and I'll UL it to ya PDQ...

LSMFT...
