That is fantastic news. And way to stay positive and get back on that horse and move at your own pace.

I also want to thank everybody who told me to take it easy and catch up when I can. I appreciated the support.

But damn it, I am still sick. I've been going to work and then sleeping. This seems to happen when I try to take on too many projects at once. So, I'm going to finish out the two other projects I started before I started the novel first - a comic book script I'm 12 pages from finishing a revision of, and the next two scripts for The Unspeakable and the Inhuman. And then in January, I work on a draft of the novel.

NaNoWriMo seems like a wonderful thing, especially from the international cadre writers giving you support angle. However, I think, for me, the better way to create a steady writing habit is to work at a more comfortable pace of 1,000 words a day and finish my draft over 2 months than to force myself to finish this Now on top of other projects and an already stressful month.

As it happens, I did end up getting sick this year with the traditional NaNo-Cold.
It didn't affect me too much. Well, actually it did. First, I took a day off, which pretty much destroyed the lead I had built up early. Secondly, I also took a day off from work during which I did do a day's 2,000 words. The problem, however, is that for some reason I can only attribute to the medication, I've some how lost that day's work. In it's place, I simply wrote 'word' two thousand times.
