July 10 - Sword Kvetch!!! (something completely different)
Next episode... A little fantasy.
SWORD KVETCH
...takes place in a fantasy world where Cael, an amazon warrior with a talking sword, comes to rescue a lost prince from Mazurin - a wizard with the darkest possible reputation.
It's hilarious - just ask the fabulous master of fantasy, Bill H!!!

Music by Maati Palaanen / Celestial Aeon Project
Cover art by Brett Coulstock

I think this episode may qualify as my most antipated. (Except maybe the next Deadeye Kid.) Finally, the wait is almost over!

And the guy on the cover is the goblin servent, not the wizard...
8)
We had a lot of fun playing with accents on this one - it's definitely not remotely pretending to be historical at all.

Beautiful album art, looks like fun!
Talking swords do seem to be inevitable in audio drama, aren't they lol

Talking swords:
They're someone for the hero to talk to (vital for audio drama), and they take up less space than a sidekick.

Easier to feed, too.

I've completed the script for a companion episode to this one - not that they're connected, just fun twisted fantasy tales - about a dragon.
This dragon comes into a small hamlet, demanding a maiden at the full moon. Close on his heels, arrives a tall blonde heroic dragonslayer.... And all the girls throw themselves at him, to avoid being eligible....
Yeah. It sounds like a shell game to me, too.
