As regards a Black Jack novel, here I fall back on the oft-heard, seldom-loved response "I'm only one man"

Here's what we got:

Tales of the Red Panda: The Crime Cabal
This book here. Done and out and in the world. Needs some promotion, as much as can be thrown at it.

Tales of the Red Panda: The Mind Master
Plan for success. Done the first book? Write the next one. It's done and pretty much ready to go. We're waiting on artwork, and then the actual book-makin' process itself. Should be out in the fall.

Another book that doesn't have a name yet
I have one chapter to write and the first draft is done. This book will go through the painfully tedious process of being shopped to publishers, so you'll see it when you see it.

According to my schedule, I have 2 days to write that last chapter, then I start my vacation time and have to get back into DRT mode and start the wholesale churning out of radio scripts. I will likely complete the process of writing the season sometime in February or March, and then a couple of months later complete the process of editing the recorded programs. I will then have a "break" in which I may be able to consider another prose project. What will it be? Everything depends on how these three do and wether or not my brain has started leaking out of my ears yet.

But it seems likely that such a thing may appear in the fullness of time.

My goodness, you're going to spoil us. If you decide to spoil us even more with a BJJ book I will be tickled pink.

BTW - still looking for sponsors?

Always... though we have a 1 year commitment that has dibs on the mid-show break.

13 reviews now... step right up, don't be shy!

Oh for crap's sake...

They were mailed weeks and weeks ago Jerm, direct from those craphounds at Lulu. I'll investigate tomorrow and see what the deal is.

And I don't think Amazon.ca can carry books released through Booksurge.
Many thanks. So, please correct me if I'm wrong, but the message I'm getting from the whole preorder ordeal is 'avoid Lulu like the plague for such endeavors'.

That about sum it up?

Lulu was part of the problem, yes. The biggest one. They suck.

I'm close to through the looking glass on your behalf. More to follow.

I was wondering... is the August Fenwick identity used as such or is it mentionned off handed? I mean what about people who read the book FIRST?! Won't that spoil the fun?

Elven: Yes.

Undrave: What about people who listen to episode 49 first? Or 37? That's what you get for coming late to the party. Plus all that's left is light beer and coolers and you get the last girl.

Digamma: Yeah, thanks for that, but everybody's plugs for the site have been edited out. Apparently you can't do that. Who knew?
