Are Sully (Kit's coworker in Secret Orgins) and Tully (this episode's backup for The Flying Squirrel) related?

Sully is a first name, Mac Tully the agent (and who happens to run a pool hall) is MISTER Tully.

I doubt it. They're just 30s and 40s soundin' names.

'sully' could also be short for 'Sullivan', another family name.

Well played Undrave. Yes indeed... I have yet to touch on some events in the Red Panda's case book that more directly dealt with Michael Sullivan, dispatcher and former driver for a certain taxicab company and (later) occasional operative of the Red Panda... His involvement in some dozen or so cases was often tertiary to the point that the only radio adventure in which he was mentioned (aside from Secret Origins) was The Sunday Supplement. He did play a larger role in the matter of the Deadly Dolls, sometimes called the Clockwork Caper...

...but that is a story for another day.

Mac Tully first appeared in The World Next Door and served with distinction as an all-purpose operative for a number of years, though of course, his most notworthy period of service came during the... Ah...

... but that is also a story for another day.

Thanks, Gregg. Sully, Tully...Tully, Sully...I was beginning to wonder if my ears were playing tricks on me. As the staff has a habit of figuring out the Boss's secret, it makes sense to me that Sully would be the one, maybe, someday, to figure out Kit's secret.

these are episodes I really like, since it shows at least in part that not everyone on the side of "Evil" is a bad guy.. just not always fully informed.

I also like episodes where FS gets to show that she's not a side kick, and can hold her own against anyone.

This one goes in My regular Red Panda Playlist.

This episode reminds me of a scene in The Rocketeer, where the Organized crime gang realizes who they're working for, a don't mind signing on with the Fed's and the Superhero for a fight.
