I'm enjoying The Unspeakable and the Inhuman. But one thing I want to know about it . . .

Why does the Quiet Riot gag crack me up so much?

"the random access joke" - I didn't know there was a name for it, but, yes, that's definitely it.

I'm going to have to ask Sam to field this one since it was his joke. I've just emailed him that we have a forum, so hopefully he'll be here any minute and explain it all to us.

Hi, I'm Sam. I wrote the joke. I think it boils down to Quiet Riot is fun to say and hear, the band rocks even if I can only name one song that they sing, and that the idea of them still rocking that one song 20 years later is HILARIOUS!
