Post Black Jack Justice (34) - The Devil You Know

A client who seems a little too eager to pony up his retainer, the feds sniffing around like the wolf at the door and witnesses who keep blossoming into corpses. It's almost enough to make a certain police Lieutenant seem like a welcome sight. Almost. Length: 28min, Size: 9.7mb

Mr. Showbot you confuse me. (Not that that's much of an accomplishment. There are days that just about everything does.)

Your post is now saying it was made 21 hours ago, but just an hour ago, it wasn't there. And now it is, but it doesn't show up when I click the "New Posts" button, because it has supposedly been made these 21 hours ago.

Sounds like a case for Jack and Trixie.

Nice little episode ^^ I saw the twist at the end coming but probably not as fast I should have. I didn't pick up on the same thing as Trixie.

For a second there I thought Hans was doing his Nelson voice.

I believe this is the first Black Jack justice case that involves that particular...hmm...market? If you know what I mean without spoiling the plot.

Say Gregg...were you sick when you recorded that dedication? There was a strange quality to your voice.

I really liked the back and forth narration of this episode. It was a nice tweak of the normal style. The Jack and Sabien banter was delightful as always! Heck, Sabien bantering with anybody always makes me smile!

This show was BANTERRIFIC! It sounds like ya'll had a great time recording this, I do hope that was the case.

And the pulp book cover for the show...perfect!

Sabien's reaction to the fact of Trixie's location was very telling. Jack and Trixie may get under his skin but he will race to their rescue when danger presents itself.

And then they get under his skin all over again.

Seconded.

I think this is only story I've ever heard that had two independent frames around a single central story. And yet, I was never once confused about where or when or who was in any particular scene. Even the transitions themselves were evident.

Great job on the writing!

This is, I think, my favorite season of BJJ. A terrific run of shows but all so different. What a great demonstration of how even within this narrow genre you can really do and say a variety of things.

The opening dedication made me laugh out loud. Which got me quite a few stares in the grocery store. Thanks a lot.

Otherwise I'll just agree with previous comments. Everyone was at top form. Again.
