THE FATE OF DOCTOR WHO: TALES OF A TIME LORD

You may have seen a recent announcement about a new Doctor Who Fan Series starring Jeff Niles. Well, the project may have hit a snag or two, but it has not been derailed altogether. The series once known as Doctor Who: Tales of a Time Lord will still be produced, but as a co-production between Dream Realm Enterprises and the 4077th! Yes, from the people who brought you the Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes comes a new Doctor Who series!

As you know DRE already has a Fan Produced Doctor Who Series featuring Ronn Smith as the Doctor. That series will not be replaced, as new episodes are in the works, and will someday soon see the light of day. That series will exist independently of the Jeff Niles series.

To avoid confusion, we will be considering the Ronn Smith series - Doctor Who Universe 1. Whilst the Jeff Niles series will be called Doctor Who Universe 2. Both series feature the adventures of a Time Lord known as the Doctor, but exist in totally different universes. Now, I'm not saying they will never cross over. With parallel universes one just never knows! Anything is possible!

But coming later this Summer the pilot adventure for Doctor Who Universe 2 - "The Planet of Doom" will be webcast in three parts! It is a story written by Jonithan Patrick Russell, and as stated above, starring Jeff Niles as the Doctor! Expect a webpage dedicated to this new series to appear on the Dream Realm site very soon! And expect more info as we get closer to the release date! So, watch this space!

ANy Who news?

A tiny bit of Who news. Two small bits:

Firstly, we're doing a comedy skit called "The Sultry Dalek" which will be released in the next couple weeks, which should be quite funny! More details can be found on our website on the News Page!

Secondly, the opening pilot story for our new Dr Who series featuring Jeff Niles as the Doctor, "The Planet of Doom" has nearly completed recording, and will go into the post production phase within the next few weeks. We are still shooting for an early to mid-autumn release of the three part tale. More details coming soon. And, as always, keep checking the website for more news as it happens!
